Playa Norte is located in the northern part of Isla Mujeres, and in fact its name is due precisely to this location and is considered the second most beautiful beach in Mexico, a distinction awarded by TripAdvisor during the Tianguis Turístico that took place in the city of Guadalajara.
It is a charming beach where you can walk, for several meters of its shallow depth, swim with fish and enjoy the best and most beautiful sunsets.
How to get there?
Getting to Playa Norte is not that complicated and can even be done on foot, thanks to the fact that Isla Mujeres as such is not very big. Once you take your transfer service to the Isla Mujeres Ferry, all you have to do is wait and enjoy the 20-minute ride through the waters of the Caribbean Sea.
Once you arrive at the Isla Mujeres marine terminal and get off the ferry, you have to walk for about 10 minutes on the left hand side to get to Playa Norte.
